The Victoria Clube de Golfe Course is the most recent course to be opened to the public in the Algarve and has already been recognised as a top Golf Course in the world.

Distinguished in January 2006 by the well known publication "Peugeot Golf Guide", with a rating of 18 out of a maximum of 20, puts the Victoria Golf Course in an elite group of the best European courses rated by most important European golfing guide.
It also hosted the "Algarve World Cup" in November 2005, giving it the international status that it deserves.

Laid out on virtually flat terrain covering some 90 hectacres it includes a series of constructed mounds specially landscaped to emulate the outline of inland hills on the horizon - a feature that enriches the course with a sense of movement and harmony. The series of beautiful lakes and waterfalls also helps to provide an attractive background while playing the course.
The course, which opened for play in 2004, is, at 7,174 yards (6,560 meters), currently the longest 18-hole layout in Portugal.

Several man-made lakes will provide hazards for the players and also serve as water reservoirs for irrigation. The course was specially designed with a view to providing sustainable residential development within the natural surroundings, whilst benefitting from magnificent ocean views from the entire complex.
